Onward Enterprises CIC was started in 1990 by Peter Sindall MBE and Margery Sindall after a long career in social services including managing Attleborough Day Services. Peter saw the need to provide an integrated yet protective work environment for adults predominently with learning difficulties as well as those on the Autism Spectrum. With the support of local industry Onward Enterprises moved into its first unit in Harleston Norfolk. The following year the couples daughter Rachel came into the business and opened a second unit in Thetford Norfolk servicing local industry.
Since its inception Onward Enterprises has grown in size and now supports over a hundred adults through its supported work scheme. Onward Enterprises now receives referrals from Local Authorities across the East as well as individuals referring themselves for support.
